Burlington Company Accused Of Trying To Bribe N.H. Inspector

RPCL Construction was fined more than $77,000 in relation to work in Salem and Londonderry, New Hampshire.

BURLINGTON, MA — A Burlington construction company was fined over $77,000 in New Hampshire and was accused of attempting to bribe a state labor inspector.

The company, RPCL Construction, was fined for records violations at job sites in Salem and Londonderry, New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Business Review Reported.

The company's vice president, Rogelio Perez, offered the inspector $28,000 "to make this situation go away," according to the inspection report.

RCPL was visited multiple times by state labor inspectors and cited for violations regarding "written notifications about the rate of pay, minimum wage recordkeeping and missing documentation to prove status."
