Burlington Coronavirus Cases Continue Decline

The town's positive test rate and case count both fell significantly over the last week.

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington's coronavirus numbers continued to decline over the last week, according to the latest town-by-town coronavirus data released by the state Thursday.

The town's two-week positive test rate fell to 3.95 percent, down from 4.87 percent in last week's report. The town had 109 cases over that period, versus 163 last week.

The town remained moderate risk for infection, or yellow, according to the state's risk classification system.
