Burlington Coronavirus Cases Continue Decline

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington's coronavirus numbers continued to decline over the last week, according to the latest town-by-town coronavirus data released by the state Thursday.

The town's two-week positive test rate fell to 3.95 percent, down from 4.87 percent in last week's report. The town had 109 cases over that period, versus 163 last week.

The town remained moderate risk for infection, or yellow, according to the state's risk classification system.

The town-by-town report labeled 110 Massachusetts communities as high risk for the virus, down from 153 last week, as positive test rates fell in more than three-quarters of cities and town

Statewide positive test rate, case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell over the last week
