Burlington Halloween 2020: When Is Trick-Or-Treating?
The town does not set trick-or-treating hours. Residents are asked to take care not to spread the coronavirus.
BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington does not set recommended trick-or-treating hours, and town officials are leaving the decision whether to participate up to residents.
Anyone who doesn't want to participate should leave their outside lights off. Trick-or-treaters should only approach homes with outside lights on.
According to state and federal public health recommendations for safely celebrating the holiday, traditional trick-or-treating is a high risk activity. One lower-risk alternative is setting out candy for trick-or-treaters to take, rather than handing it directly.
