BURLINGTON, MA — During difficult times like the coronavirus outbreak, some people step up to help others. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?
Jane and Cheryl manage the ordering and distribution of food (about 150,000 pounds in the last 3 months!) to the hundreds of families who need help to meet their nutritional needs. They also coordinate a small army of volunteers.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
They have done an outstanding job of delivering pantry services during the pandemic, constantly evaluating and changing procedures to keep users and volunteers safe, all while providing people in need with a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables and grocery items.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
They are incredibly dedicated as well as being smart, resourceful and generally wonderful.
