Burlington Schools Opening Two Hours Late Monday
Mother Nature's gift of snow as spring begins has made for the delayed start of school Monday morning.

BURLINGTON, MA - Burlington Public Schools will open two hours late on Monday due to the first day of spring storm that began Sunday night and is expected to continue through the Monday morning commute.
After 48 hours of off-again, on-again storm warnings, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for Burlington and the surrounding area from Sunday night through Monday morning.
Burlington is expected to get four to seven inches of snow from this weather system.

Forecasters say snow may fall heavy at times during the overnight hours with some snow persisting into rush hour Monday morning. Snow is expected to end by late Monday morning.
Hazardous travel is expected Sunday night and into the Monday morning commute. Visibilities could be a quarter mile or less at times throughout the storm.
