Burlington Schools Report Confirmed, Probable Coronavirus Cases

The district reported confirmed or probable cases at two schools, Friday.

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington Public Schools reported a pair of likely coronavirus cases at two district schools, Friday. Laboratory testing confirmed a case at Burlington High School while a student or staff member at Memorial Elementary was diagnosed with a probable case.

The Memorial School case is being laboratory tested to confirm whether it is a case of the virus, but the town Board of Health treats probable cases as confirmed cases until proven otherwise.

The Board conducted contact tracing and is contacting all close contacts among students and staff.
