Burlington Weather: Flood Watch, Winter Weather Advisory In Effect Monday Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch and a winter weather advisory for Burlington. Breaking

BURLINGTON, MA — While today's conditions may not include serious snowfall, we could be in for some nasty weather conditions today.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for much of Middlesex County from 1 p.m. this afternoon through Tuesday morning. Heavy rain is expected Monday evening through Tuesday morning, with most locations receiving between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain.

Additionally, parts of Middlesex County, which includes Burlington, have been issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m Tuesday. The advisory includes calls for snow, sleet, and freezing rain of up to one inch.

There is also a wind advisory in effect from 1 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday, forecasting winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour with gusts between 40 and 50 miles per hour.
