Power Restored, Traffic Cleared After Wire On Middlesex Turnpike

Traffic was down to just one lane, Burlington police said, and over 500 lost power Friday.

BURLINGTON, MA — Power was restored and traffic cleared after a wire came down on Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington Friday. Traffic was down to a single lane early Friday afternooon, according to a police tweet. Over 500 people were left without power for a couple of hours.

As of 4 p.m., power was restored, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.

Over 500 were without power, as of 12:45 p.m. Friday. (MEMA)
