Grade 7 At Burlington Public Schools Goes Remote
Both the "Blue" and "White" cohorts went remote Monday after a coronavirus case was found in each group.
BURLINGTON, MA — The Burlington Public Schools Grade 7 Blue and White cohorts both went remote Monday after cases were found in both groups.
The district announced Sunday that there was a confirmed case in Grade 7 White and a probable case in Grade 7 Blue, so both cohorts will be remote this week.
These were the first cases the district reported at Marshall Simonds Middle School since Dec. 24

Anyone found to be a close contact will be contacted by the Board of Health or a school nurse, the district said.
Testing is recommended for close contacts but they must quarantine even if they test negative.
