How To Dispose Of Your Christmas Tree In Burlington

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington Christmas tree pickup will be the week of Jan. 19, according to the town trash and recycling calendar. Pickup will follow the standard yard waste day schedule. Residents are encouraged to call the public works department at 781-270-1670 if they do not know their yard waste day.

Christmas trees over six feet tall should be cut in half. They must be free of decorations and stands, and will not be picked up if they're bagged. Trees must be out by 7 a.m.

"If your tree is not picked up please call the DPW as soon as it’s missed so that we can have it picked up," the town said.
