Man Struck by Vehicle While Cleaning Driveway, Patient Reportedly Threatens Gun Violence

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, December 18-
- At 1:36 a.m. a caller at Macy's reported a past theft by an employee processing false returns. Employee summonsed.
- At 8:03 a.m. police arrested a Burlington man on a warrant from another agency.
- At 10:52 a.m. a Winn Street caller reported that while he was cleaning out his driveway a red Volvo struck him on the arm and drove away.
- At 2:34 p.m. an employee at Burberry reported the past theft of cologne.
- At 2:47 p.m. Lahey Clinic security reported a patient stated he was going to get his guns from home and shoot people. Patient admitted.
- At 3:28 p.m. a caller reported an ex friend of the family keeps stalking her and her daughter. An officer responded and caller was considering a harassment prevention order.
- At 6:18 p.m. a caller on Middlesex Turnpike reported the driver of a BMW backed into her in traffic and then got out of his car and was banging on her window and yelling at her. She said the man demanded a paper exchange but then left the scene.
- At 6:43 p.m. a Nordstrom caller reported one of their employees was assaulted in the parking lot following a road rage incident.
- At 7 p.m. a Wheatland Street caller reported identification theft. Caller said almost $600 in fraudulent charges were made on her credit card.
- At 7:48 p.m. a caller reported her vehicle was struck on Cambridge Street and the other drive left the scene.
- At 8:06 a.m. Lahey Clinic security reported a nurse was assaulted by a family member of a patient the night before.
- At 12:20 p.m. a caller on Center Street reported that two tall white men in dark coats and hats made a comment about her dog she did not like.
- At 3 p.m. a Cambridge Street caller reported a female on a scooter riding on the wrong side of the road. The woman was gone when police arrived.
- At 4:55 p.m. a caller on Middlesex Turnpike who works for a bus company reported a vehicle struck his bus on the on-ramp to Route 128 North and drove off without exchanging paperwork.
- At 6:11 p.m. police issued a summons to a Waltham man on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Summons issued after a Cambridge Street caller reported someone rear-ended his tow truck.
- At 7:03 p.m. a manager at Victoria's Secret reported two black females in their early 20s shoplifted roughly $200 worth of merchandise (women's under garments) from the store.
- At 9:12 p.m. a caller from Raja and Rana's Indian Market reported a past money theft via a fraudulent funds transfer.
