Man Summonsed for Hit and Run Accident, Many Parking Ban Citations Issued

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, December 13-
- In the early morning there were multiple citations issued for the winter parking ban. Read about the ban here to avoid getting a ticket.
- At 8:12 a.m. a caller on Blanchard Road reported a possible break-in. The building is under construction but is alarmed which may have scared off suspects. Northing reported stolen.
- At 9:11 a.m. police issued a summons to an Everett man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- At 5:13 p.m. police issued a summons to a Billerica man on a charge of leaving the scene of property damage. Summons issued following a hit and run accident on Cambridge Street.
- At 5:38 p.m. a College Road caller reported the driver of a passing vehicle shouted an obscenity at him when he pulled into his driveway.
- At 5:50 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run accident on Mall Road.
- At 8:01 p.m. a Colburn Street caller reported someone with a flashlight was walking around a neighbor's house and the caller didn't think it was the resident. The resident wasn't home and police checked the home which was secure.
