BURLINGTON, MA - Michael L. Lourie, of Burlington formerly of Needham, passed away at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family and friends, on Sunday morning, April 24, 2016. The beloved husband of Leslie (Terry) he was 49-years-old.

Michael was an accomplished Chef, graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, and had the pleasure of cooking for some of Boston’s best restaurants. Most recently he owned a Personal Chef Company and enjoyed cooking for families in the community. Michael has touched the hearts of all those who knew him with his quick wit, lively personality and generous nature. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Michael was the beloved husband of Leslie (Terry). Devoted father of MyKah and Gracyn. Loving son of Linda Lourie of Needham. Brother of Susan Lourie Schueth & her husband Sam of CO and David & his wife Kristina of Brookline. Michael is also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved their uncle Mikey dearly. Funeral Services were private.
