Monday Essentials: Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, Restaurant Hiring Event

Five things to know about the week ahead.

Welcome to Monday Essentials, our weekly column taking a look at the week ahead. Here are five things to know about this week:

1) Warmer than last week 

Looks like a nicer week than what we've had recently. After a chance of rain of Monday and Tuesday the rest of the week is expected to be sunny, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will mostly be in the mid-40s. 

2) Public meetings 

The Board of Appeals is meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the main hearing room at Town Hall. The Planning Board is meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the main hearing room at Town Hall.

3) Tree lighting ceremony 

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 on the Town Commons. 

4) Give the gift of life 

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Tuesday from 1:30 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion in Burlington. 

5) Hiring event

Clover Food Lab, 100 Mall Road, is looking for enthusiastic new employees. The restaurant is holding a hiring event from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday. Click here for more information
