NextDoor Theater Production of 'The Light in the Piazza'

NextDoor Theatre will be producing Craig Lucas’ Light in the Piazza, directed by Adam Schuler and music directed by Dan Rodriguez. Starring Lynn Shane as Margaret Johnson, Caitlyn Oenbrink as Clara Johnson and Serge Clivio as Fabrizio Naccarelli.

Light in the Piazza is based on a novella by Elizabeth Spencer, the story is set in the 1950s and revolves around Margaret Johnson, a wealthy Southern woman and her developmentally stalled daughter, Clara, who spend a summer together in Italy. When Clara falls in love with a young Italian man, Margaret is forced to reconsider not only Clara’s future, but her own deep seated hopes and regrets as well.

Performances are January 15, 16, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30 at 8pm, and January 24 at 2pm.
