NY-Based Italian Restaurant To Open First Burlington Location
Parm, a restaurant that specializes in classic Italian American fare, is expected to open for business in Burlington in November.
BURLINGTON, MA — A New York-based Italian restaurant has plans to open its first Massachusetts location inside Burlington Mall.
Parm, a restaurant that specializes in classic Italian American fare served in a casual, family-friendly setting, is eyeing a move to a portion of the former Sears along the westerly edge of the building, adjacent to The Village of Burlington Mall.
The town's planning board has already approved the proposed restaurant's special permit and site plans.

The Board of Selectmen recently approved the restaurant's alcohol and liquor license during a recent public hearing.
According to town documents, plans include indoor seating for 120 people and outdoor seating for 46. Two exterior patios are in the works — one facing Middlesex Turnpike and the other facing Burlington Mall Road. The patios will include high-top counter seating with 12 stools and two spaces for the handicapped.

The nearly 6,000 square foot premise will also have take-out space, waiting rooms, bathrooms, a kitchen and more.
In business since 2011, Parm currently has five other locations — all currently based in New York.
Representatives for the restaurant hope to open for business in Burlington by November of this year.
