Roadwork Will Close Lanes On Route 3
Overnight roadwork will impact both sides of the highway this week.
BURLINGTON, MA -- The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will close certain lanes on Route 3 and have rolling roadblock starting Monday night and continuing through Friday as part of previously-scheduled roadwork. The work stretches from Burlington through Bedford, Billerica and into Lowell and will affect both the north- and southbound sides of the highway.
The exact schedule, according to MassDOT, is as follows and subject to weather conditions:
- On Route 3 northbound between the Route 128/I-95 interchange and the Exit 32 (Drum Hill Road) interchange on the evenings of Monday, November 26, Wednesday, November 28, and Thursday, November 29.
- On Route 3 southbound between Exit 27 (Concord Road) and Exit 26 (Route 62) on the evening of Tuesday, November 27.
Work will be done between 10 pm and 5 am each night.
