The new policy permits flowers and small holiday decorations within a foot of gravestones.
BURLINGTON, MA — The Burlington selectmen unanimously approved changes to the cemetery rules Monday, allowing some decorations and flowers on graves.
The new rules permit holiday decorations within two weeks of a holiday as well as flowers and other plants. All such decorations must be within a foot of the grave marker.
The Board previously discussed the changes on Feb. 22.
