Shake Shack Coming To Burlington Mall In Spring 2020

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington Mall announced Tuesday that a Shake Shack is coming to the mall in Spring, 2020. The New York-based fast casual chain serves burgers, crinkle-cut fries, shakes, frozen custard, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches and nuggets. They have five Boston-area locations, with one more coming to Boston's Downtown Crossing Sunday.

Shake Shack will be on the first floor of the former Sears building, according to the announcement. They did not give an exact opening date.

Karma, an Asian fusion restaurant, will also open at the mall in 2020, they announced. It will have outdoor seating during the spring and summer, and be located next to Frank Pepe's Pizzeria Napoletana.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer our shoppers additional new dining options such as Shake Shack and Karma at Burlington Mall. It is an exciting time to join our premier center with our transformational redevelopment underway which will provide an even greater experience for our loyal shoppers,” said Justin Feldhouse, the mall's general manager, in a statement.

The mall announced recently that it now offers DoorDash delivery service.
