Traffic Alert: Trooper Fortini Wake And Funeral On Winn Street
New York State Trooper Ryan Fortini's funeral and wake will be held at St. Margaret's Church on Winn Street.

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington police warn that there will be heavy traffic on Winn Street, near I-95, Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. St. Margaret's Church will host the funeral and wake of Ryan Fortini, the Burlington native police trooper who died last week from illness related to his search and recovery work following 9/11. Traffic will be worse until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
Please avoid the area of Winn Street near I-95 until 8 p.m. tonight.
The wake for Trooper Fortini will cause a great deal of Police vehicle traffic.

Trooper Fortini's wake and funeral will be held at St. Margaret’s at 111 Winn Street. The wake will be this afternoon from 4 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Traffic will be heaviest from 9 to noon.

Fortini spent 15 years with the New York State police, before being forced to retire due to cancer caused by his work at Ground Zero.
