BURLINGTON, MA — Celebrate Burlington will not happen as usual this year, but two Burlington organizations have set up food drives Saturday, so residents will have the chance to give back.

People Helping People and the Presbyterian Church in Burlington are each holding a drive for the Burlington Community Food Pantry. The Food Pantry has had a significant rise in the need of food assistance during the coronavirus outbreak and associated lockdown, People Helping Pepole said.

Items needed include mayonnaise, vegetable oil, oatmeal, salad dressing, broth, snacks, shampoo, tissues, disinfectant wipes and baby wipes.
