Wayback Burgers to Open Inside Burlington Mall

BURLINGTON, MA - There's going to be a new restaurant in town offering burgers reminiscent of the hometown burger joints of the past.

Wayback Burgers announced recently its plan to open its newest restaurant inside the Burlington Mall this spring.

The Burlington restaurant will be the third location owned and operated by local franchisee, Al Abbas, and marks the sixth location in the state of Massachusetts. Once opened, Wayback Burgers of Burlington, located in the food court of Burlington Mall, will add nearly 30 new jobs the area.

“We are excited to announce the opening of our Wayback Burgers location in Burlington Mall,” said Al Abbas, local franchisee, Wayback Burgers in a statement. “We believe that the mall is a perfect fit for the brand, and we look forward to providing excellent service and top notch burgers, fries, shakes and more for foodies in Burlington and beyond.”

According to the company, Wayback Burgers offers burgers made from 100 percent fresh, never frozen ground beef, cooked to order, available as a single, classic double, triple and triple triple (nine) patty, and rich, thick milkshakes made the old-fashioned way by hand, using only fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream, served in an environment that hearkens back to a simpler place and time – when “customer service” meant something and everyone felt the warmth of the community.

Wayback Burgers isn't all about burgers though as its menu also includes crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and sides, including fries, onion rings, home-style chili and house-made chips.
