Arrest Made in Armed Robbery Case in Cambridge
A 16-year-old male from Cambridge has been arrested in connection with Wednesday morning's armed robbery.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - Cambridge Police have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery on Wednesday in Cambridge.
According to Cambridge Police Dept. spokesperson Jeremy Warnick, Cambridge Police on Friday arrested a 16-year-old male from Cambridge in connection with Wednesday morning’s armed robbery that occurred in the area of Flagg Street and Banks Street.

According to police, the victim, a 27-year-old male said he was walking home from Allston in the area of Flagg and Banks streets around 1:20 a.m. Dec. 6 when three men walked toward him. The victim told police one of the men shoved the him into a car and then put him in a chokehold, while a second suspect held a gun to his stomach.
The victim told police the three men stole his cellphone and wallet, before fleeing.

Police said the juvenile suspect will face an armed robbery charge as well as charges associated with three outstanding warrants.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
