Cambridge Armed Robbery Suspect Wanted For Harvard Square Stick-Up
The Cambridge Police have released a photo of a suspect who reportedly robbed a local Harvard Square business of $340 in cash.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - The Cambridge Police have released a photo of a suspect who reportedly robbed a local Harvard Square business of $340 in cash, police said in a release today. On July 13 at approximately 2:45 p.m., while an employee of a fast food restaurant located in the area of 1300 Massachusetts Avenue was assisting a customer, the employee opened the cash register to complete the purchase, police said. The customer then pulled up the front of his shirt and showed what appeared to be a black handgun in the waistband of his jeans and demanded that the employee give him all the money, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5 foot nine inches tall, thin with a muscular build, police said. He had a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm that is believed to have spelled out “Loyalty” with some designs around it, police said. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, blue polo-type shirt with white lettering on the front and blue jeans, police said.
