Cambridge Drug Arrests Target Cocaine Sales
Three arrested in connection with cocaine distribution in Cambridge.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - Cambridge police arrested three people in two separate drug busts July 27 as part of a special investigation unit into cocaine dealing in Cambridge.
Police said members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Ricky White, 58, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, and charged him with distribution of a class B substance and conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act. Also arrested and charged with possession of a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act was James Roberts, 52, 315 Carger Street in Revere. Detectives on surveillance observed the two engage in a street level drug transaction where White provided crack cocaine to Roberts, police said. The incident occurred on Massachusetts Avenue at Sellers Street, police said.
Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigation Unit received information of a cocaine delivery that was going to occur at Massachusetts Avenue. Denise Barton, 34, 146 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury, was charged with arrest for possession and distribution of a cocaine and U.S. currency, a Newport cigarette box, and Samsung cellular phone were processed and submitted into evidence.
