Have You Seen This Man? Cambridge Police Seeking Public's Help

The alleged Porter Square bank robber's description mirrors the man described after another reported robbery in Harvard Square.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Cambridge Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a man caught on camera during a bank robbery in Porter Square Tuesday.

The suspect is described as suspect is described as a white male between 35 and 45 years old wearing a black jacket, a hoodie, jeans and a green knit hat.

He did not show a weapon, but did pass a note to the teller and received less than $50, police said.

Meanwhile, police reported another bank robbery Wednesday near Harvard Square, with a similarly described suspect. Police confirmed on Twitter that the suspect descriptions match, but did not confirm the suspects to be the same man.

In the second bank robbery, reported in the 1400 block of Mass Ave., police described the suspect as a white male in his mid-to-late 30s wearing sunglasses, a green coat and dark/thick winter gloves.
