One Injured in Cambridge Nightclub Shooting

At approximately 2:10 a.m. this morning, officers responded to 450 Massachusetts Avenue after a woman was shot outside Monroe nightclub

CAMBRIDGE, MA - A woman was shot in the leg early Sunday morning outside a Central Square nightclub.

At approximately 2:10 a.m. this morning, officers responded to 450 Massachusetts Avenue after several shots were fired in front of the Monroe night club, police said. One female suffered a gunshot wound to her lower leg, police said.

She was treated on-scene and taken to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Multiple Cambridge Police units searched the area and found a gun nearby at 415 Massachusetts Avenue, police said. A suspect has not been identified at this time, police said.

All evidence from the scene has been secured and taken back to the Cambridge Police Department, police said.
