Police Action Delays Red Line at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The MBTA is reporting delays on the Red Line Wednesday afternoon, due to police action at its Harvard station.

Currently, the delays are reported as "moderate."

According to Cambridge Police, there are additionally reports of a possible bank robbery in progress in the vicinity. The address given as of 4 p.m. was the 1400 block of Mass Ave.

Cambridge Police describe the robbery suspect as a white male in his mid-to-late 30s wearing sunglasses, a green coat and dark, thick winter gloves.

It is unknown if the potential robbery is related to the T delay.
