Teen's Harvard University Acceptance Video Goes Viral
A teen's video of his acceptance into Harvard University has gone viral, passing 5.7 million views on Twitter.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - A Louisiana teenager's video of his acceptance to Harvard University has gone viral, drawing more than 5.7 million times since it was posted yesterday. The video shows Ayrton Little, a resident of Breaux Bridge, LA, wearing a Harvard sweater and surrounded by classmates at TM Landry College Preparatory while he checks his admission status online.

In an interview with WBUR, Little, who skipped a grade and turns 17 in February, said taking the video is a ritual for seniors. Little's older brother, Alex, was accepted into Stanford last Friday.

“Friends and family were there, but the majority of it was my school,” Ayrton said in a phone call Wednesday. “We're a really small school. There's only 16 in our graduating class, and me and my brother are two of those 16.”
Ayrton wants to help “kids that grow up like me,” he said, “with a love of learning, but they may not have the resources to be able to go to Harvard or Stanford.”
