Maria Sharapova to Study at Harvard During Tennis Ban
With some free time on her hands thanks to a two-year ban from tennis, superstar Maria Sharapova will take classes at Harvard.

Cambridge, MA — Russian tennis superstar Maria Sharapova is coming to Harvard Business School, according to an Associated Press report, taking classes at Harvard University this summer while under a two-year ban from the sport.
"Not sure how this happened but Hey Harvard! Can't wait to start the program," Sharapova tweeted today.
Her agent Max Eisenbud told the Associated Press that the program involves two classes on campus.

Sharapova is serving a two-year ban by the International Tennis Federation after she tested positive for meldonium at the Australian Open in January. The five-time Grand Slam champion and former top-ranked player has appealed the ban.
