7-Year-Old Boy Falls From Blue Hills Ski Lift

CANTON, MA — A 7-year-old boy fell from a chairlift at the Blue Hills Ski Area in Canton, Massachusetts State Police said.

Around 4:30 p.m., Monday, State Police were called to the slopes at 4001 Washington St. and found the boy had suffered serious injuries. The child was airlifted to Children's Hospital in Boston. He was with his family at the ski area when he fell from the lift, State Police said.

State Police said they are in contact with the hospital to continue gathering information about what caused the incident.
