CANTON, MA — It was a heartwarming night of sports, competition and community connection in Canton Tuesday night as the Canton High unified basketball team took the court against members of the Canton Police Department and the Canton Fire Department.

Canton is one of 82 schools in Massachusetts that this fall sported a unified basketball team where players with physical and mental disabilities pair with other students at the school to form one unified squad.
