Canton July 4th Fireworks, Events and More: 2018 Guide
Canton residents are in for a day of fun.

CANTON, MA – Fourth of July is on the horizon, and the Town of Canton is preparing for a day of fun to celebrate our independence.
Independence Day kicks off with the 51th Annual Road Race at the Canton Town Club on Bailey Street. The five-mile road race starts at 9 a.m. and is $15. The two-mile fun run for kids 12 and under starts at 9:05 a.m. and costs $5. You can register at CantonRec.com or on-site starting at 8 a.m.
The fun shifts to the Irish Cultural Centre at 6 p.m., where there will be inflatables, face painting and airbrush tattoos for kids. Live music starts at 7 p.m., followed by the fireworks display at 9 p.m.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase. No coolers are allowed. Attendees should be prepared to have their bags checked upon arrival.
Everyone should also expect a hot day. The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for a high of 92 degrees and a low of 71.
