Margaret E. Guarino (Doody), age 81, of Concord, and formerly of Canton, passed away at home August 16.
Born in Walpole, she was raised in Canton, graduated from Canton High School and lived most of her life in Canton.
She was a devoted housewife and dedicated her life to raising her nine children.
Beloved wife of the late Alfred Guarino. Mother of John M. of VA, George A. of NV, Sandra M. Kraynak and her husband Robert of N.Y., Nancy J. Zahar and her husband James of Taunton, James N. of Carlisle, Robert S. and his wife Jenny of PA, Michael P. of Concord, David C. and his wife Kelly of Carlisle and Margaret L. of VA. Sister of Doris Lawrie of Norwood, George R. Doody, Jr. of Plymouth and the late Madonna “Rita” Trayers and Richard L. Doody.
Also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. in Canton on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services and burial private.
