Canton Obituary: Marjorie A. Bedard
Bedard taught biology at Canton High School for 30 years.

Marjorie A. Bedard passed away on April 24, 2013. She was born on November 17, 1939 in Boston, the daughter of the late Anna and Michael Donovan and sister of James.
She was raised in West Roxbury and attended Blessed Sacrament in Jamaica Plain. Marjorie graduated from Regis College in 1961 with a degree in Biology. She then obtained her Masters degree from Tufts University.
After graduate school, Marjorie began teaching Biology at Canton High School where she taught for 30 years.

Always passionate about the sport of golf, she avidly played after retirement and was an active member of the Ladies-by-the-Sea Golf League in Chatham. Marjorie was a devout Catholic who treasured her faith.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Arthur, and their three children, Timothy and wife Nicole of Groton, MA; Mary and her husband Kevin of San Francisco, CA; and Nicole and her husband, Michael of Connecticut along with three grand-children and her brother James. She also leaves behind many beloved friends.
The funeral was held at the Holy Redeemer Church in Chatham on Monday, April 29, followed by her burial in the South Chatham Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Nickerson Funeral Home in Chatham.Â
