Police Arrest 2 Suspects After Seach Of Canton Neighborhood
Canton police asked residents near Turnpike Street to stay inside locked houses during a K9 unit search for potentially armed suspect.
CANTON, MA — Canton police said two suspects were in custody midday Thursday after a search of the Turnpike Street neighborhood. Police said Canton, Boston and State Police conducted the house-to-house search, along with K9 units, for one potentially armed suspect near Ponkapoag Golf Course following a vehicle chase in the morning.

Police were urging residents in the area of Turnpike Street to stay in their residences with doors locked as they looked for a suspect near Route 138.

State Police said the search was in the area of the Ponkapoag golf course and involved the potentially armed suspect. Police said the suspect fled from a car chase near the Stoughton line. State Police said a second suspect from the chase was in custody late Thursday morning.
