Canton Public Schools: Canton High School Seniors Awarded $208,300 In Scholarships At Annual Scholarship Night

CANTON — Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Fischer-Mueller is pleased to announce that $208,300 in scholarship money was awarded to Canton High School seniors at the school’s annual Scholarship Night on May 25.

A total of 86 seniors were awarded scholarships offered by 72 local organizations.

“Congratulations to these students on their scholarship awards which recognize and honor their goals, achievements and contributions while students at Canton High School,” Superintendent Dr. Fischer-Mueller said. “I would also like to express my gratitude to the many local groups, organizations and businesses who generously provide these scholarships to support our seniors.”

The scholarships and student awardees are listed below:

American Association of University Women: Amy Hylen, Rachel Kupferman

AFSCME Local 362 Scholarship: Kathryn Benson, Nicole Desjardins

Albert J. Meda Memorial Scholarship: Mia Gilmore, Aaron Mar

American Legion Unit # 24 Auxiliary Scholarship: Norah Brown, Nicole Desjardins

Anthony Maffie Memorial Scholarship: Valerie Casimir

Balsamo Memorial Charitable Foundation Scholarship: Michael Gaffney, Mary Kellley

Blue Hill Civic/Alvah K & Dorothy G. Borman: Olivia Chinsen, Maxwell Schnock
