Canton Road Race 2017 Schedule

CANTON, MA – The Canton Road Race is this Sunday, Sept. 24 at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children. The annual event is sponsored by Boston Mutual, the Canton Association of Business and Industry (CABI) and Pappas to raise money for the CABI Charitable Foundation.

CABI donates 100 percent of the race proceeds to local charities, civic organizations and scholarships.

Schedule:

• 10:15 a.m. - Registration opens (or you can register online)
• 11:15 a.m. - Kids' wheelchair one-mile race begins
• 11:20 a.m. - Kids' fun run begins
• 12:00 p.m. - Race begins (5K, 10K, & walk)
• 1:00 p.m. - Post-race festivities begin: refreshments, local vendors
• 1:30 p.m. - Race awards

Race Number Pickup

Runners can pick up their bibs on Saturday, September 23rd from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Homewood Suites in Canton or on race day starting at 10:15 AM.

Cost

• Adult 5K/10K – $25 (or $30 on-site)
• 18 and under 5K/10K – $20 (or $25 on-site)
• Kids' Fun Run – $10 (includes t-shirt)
• Wheelchair race (1 mile) – $10 (includes t-shirt) free for Pappas students

This is the first year Boston Mutual is sponsoring both the wheelchair and the kids' races, and the second consecutive year the company is a Platinum Sponsor of the race. Boston Mutual will be holding a raffle at 1:30 p.m. during the race awards ceremony.
