Canton Seeking Proposals To Lease Building On Paul Revere Site

The town is looking to use space at the Paul Revere Heritage Site for a restaurant or event venue.

CANTON, MA – The Town of Canton Board of Selectmen is seeking proposals for a restaurant or event venue at the Paul Revere Heritage Site, according to a town announcement. The restaurant or event venue would lease and use one or a portion of one of two buildings at the site, in conjunction with the siting of a history museum, community arts center or other permitted use. Both would be located in the same area at the PRHS.

Canton is proposing that the PRHS become a preeminent historical and cultural destination on the South Shore, celebrating the life of Paul Revere as an industrialist. The museum, cultural and event venue will serve as the backdrop for a year-round program of events. In addition, 272 housing units are being built adjacent to the PRHS.

Proposals are due in the office of the Finance Director, Memorial Hall, 801 Washington St., Canton MA 02021 no later than 11:00 AM on December 22, 2017. This contract is subject to award by the Board of Selectmen.
