Chilling Video Catches Daytime Shooting On Busy Canton Road

The 21-second video ends in a person running across the street and firing a gun at another vehicle.

CANTON, MA — A brazen daytime shooting on a busy Canton road Sunday afternoon was caught on video, showing a stunning escalation of violence in a matter of seconds.

The 21-second clip has circulated on social media and shows a driver on Route 138 closely tailing another driver then swerving into the vehicle, causing it to spin and slow down. Someone gets out of the vehicle, runs across the street and fires multiple gunshots at the first vehicle. The video ends abruptly with the person recording it ducking and exclaiming an expletive.

Canton police Chief Ken Berkowitz told Boston 25 they are trying to find the people involved.

WHDH reported one of the vehicles was found abandoned with six bullet holes in it. Police said they believed the shooting was targeted.
