Dunkin' Brings Back Girl Scout Cookie-Inspired Coffee Flavors

The Canton-based chain dropped one of the three flavors its offered last year as part of its partnership with Girl Scouts USA.

CANTON, MA — Sorry, Trefoils shortbread fans. You won't be able to get a cup of coffee inspired by your favorite Girl Scout cookie at Dunkin' this year. The chain is rolling out its annual licensing partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA, but has cut the offerings down to just two flavors, the Samoa-inspired coconut caramel and Thin Mints.

The shortbread coffee was introduced last year and joined coconut caramel and Thin Mints, which were introduced as limited-time-only items in 2018. But after just a year, Dunkin' is returning to the two original flavors. Online reviews for the Trefoils shortbread coffee ranged from "not horrible" to "just a vanilla latte" when it was released a year ago.

Coconut caramel and Thin Mints will be available at participating Dunkin' stores through early spring. Prices vary by size and location.
