Fourth of July in Canton: What You Need to Know

A day of fun is planned for July 4.

Canton, MA — With the Fourth of July just about here, Canton is getting ready for their own celebration!

The day starts with the 49th Annual Road Race at the Canton Town Club on Bailey Street. The five-mile road race starts at 9:30 a.m. and is $10. The two-mile fun run for kids 12 and under starts at 9:35 a.m. and is $5. You can register at CantonRec.com or at the site starting at 8 a.m.

Starting at 6 p.m., the Irish Cultural Centre becomes the site for the celebration and fireworks. Inflatables, face painting, and airbrush tattoos will be available for the kids and live music featuring Classic Trax starts at 7 p.m.

The fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Food and beverage will be available at the pub. No coolers are allowed.
