Susan (Ward) Callahan, of Canton, passed away June 20 at the age of 63.
Susan W. Callahan (Ward), age 63 of Canton, passed away June 20 at her brother’s home in Osterville surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School in S. Boston. She worked for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care in Wellesley for many years.

She has lived in Canton for the last 33 years and previously lived in Stoughton. She loved gardening and was a former member of the Canton Garden Club.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel Callahan. Mother of Joseph D. Callahan of South Boston. Sister of Roseleen Catalano of Yarmouthport, Maryanne Connoughton of Needham, Frank Ward of Osterville and the late John B. and Joseph O. Ward.

Visiting hours were held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Sunday. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Monday morning at 11:30. Burial private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Jimmy Fund 44 Binney St. Boston, MA 02215.
