Teen Girl's Shopping Cart Ordeal In Canton Goes Viral
A Massachusetts teen's Storyful video of her getting her fingers stuck in a Marshalls shopping cart is gaining international fame.

CANTON, MA — It may be the modern version of Flick from "A Christmas Story" sticking his tongue on a frozen flag pole. In this revamp, it was a Massachusetts teen who created a Storyful video of her getting her fingers stuck in a Marshalls shopping cart in Canton, and having to be freed by local firefighters — just like in the movie.
Olivia Harol's video account of the ordeal made news internationally this week as it was featured on ABC7 in Chicago, ABC7 In New York, and Yahoo! News sites internationally in England and Malaysia.
Only there was no triple-dog dare involved in this incident. Harol told Storyful when she looked at the shopping cart she simply wondered to herself if her fingers would fit in the little holes in the front of the plastic. They did. Unfortunately, they did not fit back out.

She said she wheeled the cart over to a chair, sat down and tried to maneuver them out to no avail. The next step was getting store employees to help her with ice applied to her fingers — again without success.
Finally, local firefighters had to come to the store and cut Harol free.
