'Watching Her Grow Makes Me Thankful': Mother's Day Photos

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter/son lookalike photo.

CANTON, MA—Whether it's through his or her personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, a daughter or son becomes a reflection of the woman who raised that child. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Massachusetts to share their "mother-daughter" or "mother-son" lookalike photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are; they'll always be your babies!

This photo was submitted by Caty Maloney, mother to her "mini-me" Asha. It was taken at the Boston Ballet's Nutcracker in December of 2016. They moved to Canton from Waltham three years ago.

Asha is an amazing little girl who is smart, kind, and fun! And she’s the best big sister Silas and Hazel could ever ask for. Watching her learn and grow makes me thankful every day that I get to be her mom.

It's your turn, Patch readers — what traits do you and your mom share? Submit your lookalike photos by sending them to charlene.arsenault@patch.com. Be sure to include a nice message for your loved one, as well as the city/location of the photo and the date it was taken.
