White Christmas In Canton: 4-Day Weather Forecast

CANTON, MA – Christmas weekend – Saturday especially – will be among the busiest shopping days of the year, and Mother Nature won't be taking it easy on you. The National Weather Service this week predicted a smattering of inconvenient winter weather through Saturday, followed by a peek of sun before snow Christmas Eve into Christmas morning.

In Canton, the NWS says there is a 80 percent chance of snow Monday morning. Here's a look at your four-day weather forecast, via the National Weather Service:

Snow, mainly after noon. High near 33. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Friday Night
Rain and snow likely before 9pm, then rain likely between 9pm and 4am, then freezing rain likely after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 31. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Saturday
Freezing rain likely before 10am, then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday Night
Rain likely, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Southwest wind around 8 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday
Partly sunny, with a high near 40.

Snow, mainly after 8pm. Low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
