2 Boats Sink, 1 Damaged After Marina Fire In Charlestown

CHARLESTOWN, MA — Two boats sank and another was damaged, after a fire ripped through a Charlestown marina late Tuesday night, causing about $1 million in damages, according to the Boston Fire Department.
There were no injuries and no one was on the boats, officials said.
The report of a boat fire near the Residence Inn on Constitution Road in Charlestown came in at 11:20 p.m. and drew marine units of Boston firefighters and the Massport Marine unit, which worked into Wednesday to put out the fire, and keep it from spreading to more boats. The US Coast Guard was also notified.

It's still not clear what started the fire, according to officials.
