Today is Monday, Nov. 15. Here are three things you need to know today.
1. Take responsibility, for example
Sylvia Maxfield, a former executive at the now defunct Lehman Brothers, will make a case for corporate social responsibility at Bunker Hill Community College today at 4 p.m. She'll take questions from the audience. Hopefully someone will ask why she left Lehman Brothers. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are encouraged. Write to Erin DeCurtis at emdecurt@bhcc.mass.edu.

2. Or just go for a swim
The pool at the Charlestown Community Center is open to the community from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Best part: It's free. And low impact.

3. Before "The Town," there was…
Charly, and lots of other movies. This fall the Boston Public Library is hosting a Made in Massachusetts Film Series, highlighting decades worth of films that were shot in the Bay State. Charly is based on the book "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes – the story of a developmentally disabled adult who becomes a genius after an experimental surgery. A few scenes were filmed at Bunker Hill, as well as the old Boston City Hospital, the Public Garden and the Longfellow Bridge. The film starts at 6 p.m. in the Rabb Lecture Hall
