The toddler's body was found wrapped in a plastic bag on Deer Island Beach June 25.

Two-year-old Bella Bond‘s mother, Rachelle Bond, has been indicted as an accessory after the fact of murder, and her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, has been indicted for first-degree murder.
Rachelle Bond was also indicted for larceny over $250 for allegedly continuing to accept public assistance after she knew of her daughter’s death, WHDH, 7 News reports.
The Suffolk County Grand Jury returned the indictments on Friday, five months after Bella’s body was found on a Deer Island beach, stashed in a plastic bag, by a woman walking her dog on June 25. The discovery launched a long investigation, first to discover the young girl’s identity. The investigation led police to the Bond’s Dorchester home. The two were taken into custody. Bond was ordered held on $1 million cash bail. McCarthy was kept without bail.
