Police Searching For Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run In Charlestown
A pedestrian was hit by a car a little after 11 p.m. Thursday near the border with Everett.
CHARLESTOWN, MA — A man was hit and killed while walking near the border with Everett Thursday night. Now, police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver of the pickup truck they believe hit him. Friday Boston police released surveillance images of the truck that did not appear to stop after the crash.
Police said a man appeared to be walking near 99 Alford Street when he was hit sometime just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Everett police called Boston police because the crash happened right near the line. The driver did not stick around, and the pedestrian was pronounced dead when first responders arrived.
At the time of the crash, images captured a light colored Ford F150 pickup truck on Alford Street headed toward Everett. Images show plywood fencing on the truck bed. Police said the truck may possible have damage to the front driver’s side bumper, grill, and headlight assembly.

The truck was last seen entering the rotary in the area of Broadway and Main Street in Everett.
